Jazba informed us about CGI sheet distribution in the area by UNDP. UNDP solved many people's problems in the area. This programme should not end. If I owned a vehicle, I would donate it to the Jazba team so it could carry out its regular work. I appeal to donors and NGOs to assist Jazba-e-Tameer in the future. |

Jazba helped end confusion about seismic reports in red zone areas. The programme helped end many rumours about possible mass evacuation and broadcast many informative interviews about the red zone. Now people have enough information and have started rebuilding their damaged houses. |

Jazba is playing an effective role in disseminating important information. Its report about the forced evacuation of tenants, that included an interview with the DCO, led to the regulation that no one can be forcefully relocated. After the Jazba report, land owners stopped pressuring people to leave their land. |

People in Shinkiari
were affected by the quake, and they received compensation cheques from ERRA.
People were only able to cash cheques if they had bank accounts. So people travelled from hilly areas to Mansehra to open bank accounts. Jazba reported on the lack of bank facilities in Shinkiari. After the broadcast, the national bank opened more facilities for people to cash compensation cheques. |
