-Talked about the different types of rock in the region and the need for extensive geological mapping before reconstruction should begin.

Private school in Mansehra provides free education to quake affected children.

- Changaiz Khan Swati, Principal of Islamia School , Hazara Private Schools Associatio n

Local schools were destroyed in the quake, and people thought they would have no chance to further their education. When the private school began operating, locals were very happy.

- Hazara Private Schools Association has provided education to more than 800 affected children.

- They also provide uniforms, books and transportation.

Disabled people's conditions 6 months after the quake, Mansehra. Story focuses on two sisters.

- Before the earthquake, disabled people were forced to beg. He says the govt. is now registering disabled people so they can receive financial aid.

- People complain they have not received compensation and they have been waiting for days.

- Bank manager explains that sometimes there is a shortage of cash in the banks. He says this is why people are only given Rs. 15,000 and need to come back to receive the remainder.

 

The state of electricity supply , Mansehra

Water and Sanitation problems in Mansehra City .

21 – April- 06

Govt's plans for reconstruction in Batkhool Union Council, Tehsil Allai (Battagram).

Health situation in Allai (Battagram).

- Save the Children will build two BHUs in the area.
