- Tenants claim that they have been living on the land for the past 100 years. They have held protests about not receiving the full compensation promised by govt.

- The Nazim says that ERRA has ordered the division of compensation between the two parties. District govt is trying to reassure the tenants and quell the disturbance

- Local people are beginning to enjoy good relations with the NGOs working in the area and that take education seriously.

 

Re-opening of a school in Tehsil Allai (Battagram)

- Two months after the earthquake, STC – US provided the students with tent schools.

- 68 schools have been restored in Allai

- Main focus has been on UC Pashtoo, that is very remote and was the most affected. 48 schools have been re-opened here.
